Newbie

Hiya,
Well, I'm new to the forum, just discovered it a few weeks ago and decided to sign up! I'm new to the area as I moved to the great state in January, and I was looking to to see if I could get in contact with a veteran hunter, someone who could show a neophyte the tricks of the trade.

I live on McChord AFB, been active duty for 9 years, I have always loved being outside, and I want to learn how to hunt. I don't mind driving some, sharing gas etc..

If your intrested PM me and well set up a meet and get to know each other.
Looking forward to a memorable experience!

-Alex

Welcome to the forums and to hunting. I have only been hunting for two years and have done alright. Hunting on the West side is a little more discouraging for some and a great challenge for others.

Since I am still new to hunting on the west side, the only thing I can offer to help on is setting your scope on your rifle, target shooting, scouting and tracking downed kill.

If you are up to any of this and want to partner up, I will be more than happy to do so.

Welcome to the forum. Your sure to find great advice as well as a good hunting partner. I was wondering what weapon or weapons do you hunt with? Are you a meat hunter or are you looking for a trophy buck to display proudly in your home? What type of hunting are you looking to do? There is a lot of options in this state from birds to big game. I am mostly a west side hunter. While I'm no long time vet, I usually do pretty good and fill the freezer. I enjoy helping our military personel get out and hunt this state. It's the least we can do since your fighting to keep us free to hunt and live.
